Description
This class (lasting no more than 2 hours, probably less) will teach you how to safely disassemble, inspect, clean, lubricate, assemble, and test your firearm and magazine. We will also discuss the pros and cons of different types of lube, solvent, etc. Class includes a free (to keep) reusable foam swab cleaner, and a small squeeze bottle for bore solvent.
Student must bring firearm (and magazine(s), unless it is a revolver), appropriately sized cleaning kit, including a cleaning brush (an old toothbrush will do, the stiffer the better), bore solvent (i.e., Hoppes #9 or equivalent), and gun lube or oil. Suggested items are a low-intensity flashlight (i.e., small, cheap LED) and a #2 pencil with an eraser (centerfire guns only). Absolutely no live ammo permitted in the room while we are cleaning.
