Premier Training of Alaska is happy to be the receiving FFL for any firearms you purchase online or have shipped to Sitka.
Transfers
Transfers are $40 for the first, $15 for the second, and $10 for each additional firearm per shipment, including tax. If you have a current Alaska Concealed Handgun Permit with a NICS exemption, your transfer will only be $30 for the first firearm, $15 for the second, and $10 for each additional firearm, including tax. If the receiver fails the required federal background check, the gun will not be transferred. It will then be the receiver’s responsibility to arrange for return shipping labels, etc. so that the firearm can be returned to the sender. Storage fees may be incurred as described below.
National Firearms Act (NFA) Transfers
As a class three dealer, we also handle transfers for silencers or other NFA items you purchase elsewhere. Our transfer fee for NFA items is $100 plus tax. Cost for digital fingerprinting and passport photos is $40 (combined) per person.
Storage Fees
Firearms not picked up within 15 calendar days of receipt (or notification of receipt if we have your contact info) will be charged $5 per calendar day, unless other arrangements have been made. When the storage fee exceeds the value of the gun, the gun will be considered forfeit. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify us that a gun has been purchased and is being sent to us for receipt.
