Terms & Conditions

Classes

Payment must be received prior to attending the course in which you register for.  If you are unable to attend the selected course, you must notify Premier Training of Alaska by phone or email more than 7 days before the start of the course to receive a 90% refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days prior will result in no refund due to the improbability of being able to replace your spot with another student on such short notice.

If you can’t attend the training your spot can be filled by another qualified person (of your choosing) in lieu of losing your tuition.

If you cannot attend a course and wish for your tuition to be used in a future course, you may roll it forward one time, if done 7 days or more before the start of the original course.  Once you have done so, the above refund procedure applies.   If you choose to roll your tuition forward, it is your responsibility to request entrance into a future course once that course has been posted to the website.  Premier Training of Alaska will not contact you to see if you can attend.

Premier Training of Alaska reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.  If any repeated safety violations are noted during training you will be asked to leave.

You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the training in order to participate in firearms training unless specific arrangements have otherwise been made.

Firearms transfers

Transfers are $40 for the first, $15 for the second, and $10 for each additional firearm per shipment, including tax.  If you have an Alaska NICS-Exempt concealed handgun permit, take $10 off of the transfer price.  If the receiver fails the required federal background check (see below), the gun will not be transferred.  It will then be the receiver’s responsibility to arrange for return shipping labels, etc. so that the firearm can be returned to the sender.  Storage fees may be incurred as described below.

National Firearms Act (NFA) sales and transfers

As a class three dealer, we also handle transfers for silencers or other NFA items you purchase elsewhere.  Our transfer fee for NFA items is $100 plus tax.  Cost for fingerprinting and passport photos is $40 (combined) per person.  If your application is denied or returned without action, your return will be subject to a 20% restocking fee (applicable to your total purchase price), as we now own a suppressor which may be difficult to resell.  Alternatively, you can put your purchase price towards other in stock items.  If you choose to fix the issue and resubmit your application, the $100 transfer fee plus tax will apply.

Storage Fees

Firearms not picked up within 15 calendar days of receipt (or notification of receipt if we have your contact info) will be charged $5 per calendar day, unless other arrangements have been made.  It is the purchaser’s responsibility to notify us that a gun has been purchased and is being sent to us for receipt.

Firearms

All guns are sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied.  All firearms purchases must be done in person, and require a federal background check.  While we try our best to keep this site current, appearance on this site does not guarantee that a firearm is in stock.  Credit/debit card purchasers add 2.5% to the price.

Sales tax

All prices are before sales tax, unless otherwise stated.  Premier Training of Alaska collects sales tax on behalf of the City of Sitka for all purchases (sales and service) made within the borough.  If a purchaser is exempt, it is their responsibility to notify us prior to purchase.

Layaway

We will do layaway on any in-stock firearm.  Layaway requires 10% down and a minimum of $50 at least once a month until paid in full (including sales tax).  If payment is 30 days late, all previous payments are forfeit, as is the firearm.  It is the buyer’s responsibility to arrange payments; it will not be our responsibility to send reminders.
